HQHQ Bookkeeping are highly qualified bookkeepers that have been providing high quality services since 2015. The business originally started as BMJ Bookkeeping and rebranded as HQHQ Bookkeeping in February 2023. We are certified bookkeepers, registered BAS agents
and fully insured. We are Xero Certified Advisors, members of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) and Tax Practitioner Board (TPB).
Our mission is to improve your business performance and profitability. We provide comprehensive bookkeeping services for businesses of all sizes. We excel in providing business owners, founders, and management teams with enhanced visibility of cashflow and reporting.
Meet the Team
Thu Ha Smith
CEO AND FOUNDER
Thu Ha Smith is the founder and CEO of HQHQ Bookkeeping. A highly skilled and experienced financial officer with more than 15 years of experience and a demonstrated track record working across a variety of industries. Thu Ha is also a registered BAS agent.
For over a decade, Thu Ha was the Finance Officer for the Carlton Football Club. She also held various roles as an Accountant and Administrative Officer with organisations in Australia and New Zealand.
Thu Ha founded BMJ Bookkeeping Services in 2015 and has worked with many clients including Carlton Football Club, ALH Group, Royal Oak Richmond, Victoria Inn, Port Melbourne Football Club, Aces Sporting Club, Paul Theyers Painting and Decorating, Supreme Solar and many others
Thu Ha is experienced in a variety of accounting and payroll software and leads a team dedicated to understanding and optimising client performance.
Thu Ha undertook studies in a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Canterbury, completed a Bachelor of Economics and Business Management from Phuong Dong University and a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping from MWT Institute. She is a Registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.
Bonnie-Mai Smith
ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR
Bonnie–Mai Smith is HQHQ Bookkeeping’s administration coordinator. Bonnie–Mai assists with various administration tasks to ensure a streamlined and efficient service for customers.
